UNITY IN COMMUNITY

Welcome to the first OC Around the Table community potluck—a place where strangers become friends, conversations spark connection, and everyone belongs.

This year, our theme is Unity Within Community. We chose this because in a time when the world often feels divided, we believe in the power of coming together. Unity doesn’t mean sameness—it means honoring our individual backgrounds while recognizing our shared humanity.

When people from different cultures, life experiences, and perspectives gather around the same table, something extraordinary happens. We don’t just share food—we share stories, ideas, and understanding. In those moments, barriers fade and connection takes root.

In our increasingly digital world, real human connection still matters deeply. Sitting together, face to face, reminds us that we are not alone—that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.

At OC Around the Table, we believe that community is not just a place—it’s a feeling. A sense of belonging, of being seen, of being valued. This event is our collective commitment to nurturing that sense of unity, one shared meal at a time.

Whether you host a table, bring a dish, or simply attend as a guest, you are helping build a stronger, more connected Orange County. You are showing that unity is possible, and that it begins with each of us.

Having realized the first OC Around the Table last year, our aim is to make this an annual gathering to continue fostering community connection in years to come.

As Organizing Committee, it is our honor to invite you to join us on September 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Mile Square Park for an evening of togetherness, celebration, and community spirit.
